Making Morph Targets : Opening a Mouth

I’m trying to make morph targets in zbrush to use inside of max. I modeled the lips too close to use the “move” brush to move the top or bottom lip without affecting the other. I’m trying to make different visimes.

So is there a better way of moving the geometry? Or is there a way to have an edge distance like there is in 3dsmax when using soft selection? That way I can move the bottom lip some with it affecting the top.

Please pour your vastly superior knowledge of zbrush upon me :smiley:

set up two different poly groups
tool>polygroups>group visible

then hid everything but the lower jaw, or lip area then repeat the process

strl+shift+left click will hid everything but the selected polygroup, then use the move tool to move the lower or upper lips independent of one another. then show all, and move them into place

or you can always mask one lip so you can move one and not affect the other
