Making a Glove

Hey there,

I am trying to make a glove for one of my models and I started off by creating a mask over the hand and extracting the hand. But I want the glove to be fingerless though I don’t know how to simply chop off the end of the fingers for it.

I’ve tried simply smoothing it out by holding down shift, but it didn’t get rid of all of it.

Also, once I create this glove, is there a way I can have it automatically adhere to the hand of the model so that when I move the hand, the glove moves as well?

I am very new to 3d sculpting/modeling and am very excited about it. Any help would be much appreciated.

I think the easiest way would be to just redraw the glove and extract. You can delete or hide polys but it will probably take longer to do.

If you are using version 3.1 you can use the traspose master plugin to pose everything including subtools. you can download it from the pixologic site.

god, i cant wait for Pix to update the plugins to 3.5 . I bet they will wait until 4.0 :frowning:
