Make polymesh3d does not work propperly (answered)

Hi
I have installed my Zbrush4 and tried to sculp. But if I want to convert a tool for example the gear to a polymesh3d, nothing happens. I think the button does not work. I recognized a tool called PolyMesh3d_1 but there is nothing in.
The only way is to save the tool first and then hit “make polymesh3d”. This works. But will there be a bugfix-patch? I think its a common problem.
And yes, I am using a registered and legal version!!!

But if this is the only problem… it does not reduce the GREAT WORK of the pixologic team. THANKS A LOT!!!

If there is something I could wish for christmas: please release a sculptris Version for the MAC! That would be great
Thanks Hilmar

Hello:

I’m having the same problem that so many other people on this forum seem to be having:

My Make Polymesh3D command stops working very quickly.

When the program first loads up, it works just fine. But then, I create a New Document, create ANY primitive 3D mesh, and then try to use Make Polymesh3D and it doesn’t seem to do anything at all.

Restarting the program does not fix this.

Help!

Jack

I invite you to open a ticket at the support center for this problem, and don’t forget to fill the profile informations requested (Cleverbridge references, serial number, etc.)

Hi Totyo
ok, I will do so. Thanks in advance

Well, did they answer you? It would be nice of you to post the answer here to let other people know how to solve it without having to bother someone in support.

I’m (trying to) using a trial of zBrush 4. So far it seems very stiff, since you have to Make PolyMesh3D for almost everything you do

I don’t know what to do about this since I’m planing on getting in a 3D animation college next semester… I hope Pixologic solves this kind of things when you get your license.

Thanks in advance, if someone cares to answer.

There is no trial version of ZBrush 4. It sounds as though you have an illegal version and should uninstall it immediately.
