Make one texture\normal map from multiple sub tools - Answered.

I made a model in 3DS max and imported them into Zbrush. I have seven sub-tools that all have a texture on them using the same UV map. I am wondering how can I get them to generate on one map instead of seven different ones? I have tried merging the sub-tools, which would work for the texture map, but not the normal map since I lose all my sub-div and can’t reconstruct them. I am fairly new at Zbrush. Thanks.

Have a look at MultiMapExporter_Documentation.pdf for the MultiMapExporter plugin in the ZBrush 4R2 / Documentation / plugins folder and see if it fits the bill. Particularly ‘Merge Maps’ on page 3.
