make adaptative skin

hello there!

I created a lot of tubes with the zsphere and when I click on “make adaptative skin” it creates my mesh as a new subtool. Is there a way to make that mesh directly created in the tool it was created in the first place when it was a bunch of zspheres? I have like 20 zspheres and this is a pain in the butt to make it an adaptative skin, append it and delete the zsphere… :confused:

Firstly that’s what happens, an adaptive mesh is made. The zsphere rig is still in your tools. You can use it to pose your mesh at a later point in time if you desire or continue tweaking it into shape before creating the skin, option for density in a panel there, stay as low as you can, the mesh can be divided later. Keep checking to see you don’t have twisting you don’t want.

Not that I’m aware of. Just append it where needed.
