Make a brush and use it on an object in scene ?

Hi, okay…

This is very very hard for me to explain, but here goes:

Let’s say I have a dynamesh: http://tribesftw.net/sp00f/screenies/11142011_15_25.png

Now let’s say I want to make a stamp (a brush)… I’d go into Document, change the size to 500x500…

Now I have: http://tribesftw.net/sp00f/screenies/11142011_15_26.png

but now I want to make a stamp out of Plane3D… I know how to add plane3d in there, modify it and put it in my alpha channel, but… when I try and go back to the Dynamesh ball, it’s completely gone. How do I keep the ball in the background (but invisible), then bring it back later?

While we’re on the subject- how do I save the alpha as a brush so that it loads with zBrush? Oh, and how do I show ALL my brushes at once, instead of just 65? : http://tribesftw.net/sp00f/screenies/11142011_15_29.png

If I can get someones time, that’d help me so much-

Appreciate it,
Boscher

bump thanks

Brush Menue/ Save As to Zbrush/Startup/Brush Presets

Thanks for all that… my main question is…

how do u navigate thru objects in your scene? having some disappear… are they subobjects or layers??

When I have a subobject and duplicate it, for some reason one of them will still disappear… I think

You should have 2 tools which share the same 3d space, you can see 2 tools in the subtool palette when you duplicate an object. When you click on annother tool in the tool palette the old one disappears. Use the subtool palette to navigate in your scene whene you have more than one tool.
