This 3D reconstruction of Joan of Arc draws its inspiration from the dramatic scene in Jean-Jacques Scherrer’s painting of her entering Orleans. My approach was to translate that iconic image into a fully detailed asset, beginning with an expressive high-fidelity sculpt in ZBrush, followed by clean retopology in Maya and precise UV mapping. The final touch was intricate texturing in Substance Painter to bring the armor and fabric to life
