Mahtopia Version 2 - Redesigning Site interface.

Hello Everyone,

I am working on my website again. I decided that the current theme kinda sucked. I mean, the space, colors, and 3D intro were cool but the rest was draggin butt. So, here is a sample of the new interface. alot of the elements are going to be 3D and there are a few 3D gizmos moving about (just havent modeled them yet). I am also going to try and impliment other cool things like music on and off abilities, percentage loaders, and text scrollers to name a few mild things.

Let me knoe what you all think.

Sorry for this belated answer.
I have gone on your site, but I am very old fashion :slight_smile:
It’s seem to me, but it’s my own advice, that all site with Flash Interface is very decorative but a time losted for loading.
Maybe because I have a very old computer and regular to surf with the old interface :slight_smile:
This notwithstanding, I try your :cool:
Style of electric billiard or SF Space Ship is funny.
All seems works fine.
The only reproach is the “no return” when you start from the Flash Zbrush gallery to the “Zoom Zbrush Image” and the no “take back” button ! (it’s exist but you return on your old interface site ?)
I only find the “close window” method for return to the flash Window choice gallery.
But it’s surrely because you are in testing phase.

MTB,
I just checked it out and all runs fine for me… I’m on DSL. I noticed the same things that Frenchy brought up! I like it though! The new interface seems very contemporary! Almost like a game site! The only thing that bothers me is that when loading your site pages… fortunecity is trying to make me download Gator… As far as I know “Gator” is spyware.
Great job dude, keep it up!

Yeah I know! ARGH!I hate fortunecity! I should have my own Domain in about two weeks. NO MORE ADS THANKFULLY! And I can finally upload my animations and bone test. :smiley:

Like I said…the old site has a suckass nav. The new one should nav alot more smoothly.

Imho, on an art site the art should be the focus of attention. Flash is cool to a point but your zbrush work is much better than your flash work, why draw attention away from it?

It looks very nice Mike, but I would have to suggest that you don’t put music on your site, It takes a long time to load, and always ends up choppy and messed up anyway, so it’s not realy worth it. The only sounds you may want to put in should be small sounds for when you mouse goes over a button, those are pretty nifty. Also, I haven’t seen the 3d shapes flying around that you’re talking about, but what I see so far seems to be possible, and not hard to do in normal HTML. That all aside, it looks cool :+1: :+1: :+1: :sunglasses:
