Hi i asked here a few weeks ago already and didnt really get an answer.
The brushes in 3.5 seem to be magnetic to subtools and behave in weird way
when you work above or below a subtool or a masked portion of the same mesh also.
Is there a way to turn this off and make the brush behave normal all the time?
not really sure what you’re asking about. Could you post up some images of the problem?
Yeah shure heres the thread where i also posted a picture.

Turn on transparency when you don’t want your subtools to interact in that way and you’re sculpting where they collide. Not sure if there’s another way to toggle it, but that collision detection will be useful in many cases.
i’m not exactly sure i understand either but have you tried turning on “fast samples” in the brush palette?
Switch on Ghost mode for SubTool transparency.
Thanks guys:) Transparency definatltly works but can be a bit distracting to work with on eyelids etc.
Ill look into that spaceboy.
Some way of just turning it off instead of using ghost mode would be nice
as i havent found this new feature usefull so far.
