Mac ZB4 Question (answered)

Whilst I’m pleased at the continued development of ZBrush and the proposed free upgrade, I’m a little confused as to when the current Mac version will be fixed (re: the displacement export, UVing and document resizing issues).

A patch was said not to be ruled out but it has not been confirmed. Version 3.5 was also due in the first quarter of this year, but that has not arrived and now version 4 has been slated for later this year.

Does this mean a Mac patch is soon to be announced, or that 3.5 will come sometime in the meantime, or will Mac users have to wait until Zbrush 4 is released?

Thanks in advance.

I will let someone with more knowledge on the subject, answer this question, but you probably shouldn’t get your hopes up.
We\ll probably go straight to 4, whenever that will happen

Well, it looks like my question has been answered and it’s really great news.

ZBrush 3.12B

Now, presumably with the displacement bugs squashed, I can get all happy about ZBrush 4 coming later this year. Awesome!

I look forward to seeing what has been fixed in this version Monday. Hopefully the displacement issues and some others.
