I posted this as part of another post in a different thread, but given the poor support response, figured it might also be worth asking (again) here…
Recently went to look up a subtle bit of ZSphere knowledge in the online docs, only to discover Pixologic has taken down virtually all pre-3.5 support materials. As 3.5 is too different to be relevant in this area, Mac ZB users no longer seem to have product documentation available anymore.
Recall, we never really received real documentation for 3.1.2 or 3.2, other than “What’s New” PDFs. We were always referred to the online docs for ZB Win 3.1, and to use the “What’s New” docs to understand the differences from 3.1. Thus when Pixo took down the 3.1 docs, Mac ZB users lost our baseline reference documentation.
When I realized what had happened regarding the docs, I called the Pixologic customer support number, politely explained the problem, and asked if they could at least put back the 3.1 documentation (so Mac ZB users had relevant docs). I was told they “weren’t going to do that.” That’s it. No explanation, no suggestion of how to work around the problem, just (rather rudely) “We’re not going to do that.”
Can someone at Pixologic please repost the 3.1 documentation in PDF or the prior HTML layout, so that Mac users can at least have the baseline documentation you told us to use in lieu of providing us proper use and reference docs for 3.12 or 3.2?
