I saw where Headus has ported the UV Layout to the mac for the professional version. I am tempted to go for it but thought I would ask to see if anyone has any comments on how well it’s working on the Mac.
I ask because it’s more pricey than I thought - the much cheaper casual user version, or whatever it’s called, is only available for the PC. I was surprised the pro version requires a dongle as well. I was watching one of the Gnomon DVD talk about it and convinced me that I need this program…
This won’t help you as I’m a pc user, but I hope they’ll port the casual user version to mac real soon.
I didn’t want the pro because of the dongle, and the casual version does all I need and it’s very easy to use.
So let’s keep fingers crossed. I’m shure it’ll be announced in the foreseeable future.
I remember asking in the headus forums probably 2 years ago about a port… great to see it now…
The hobbyist version is $200, the Pro version is $300… not cheap but certainly the cadillac of UV tools… and depending how much UV’ing you do… I’m gonna wait for the demo version to give it a test drive though and see how well it runs in its mac skin… I’d love to hear back from ppl also.
I used an ancient version in '05 before there was an undo 
and we have 1 dongled version at work… not sure if its v1 or 2 though.
