mac 3.12 one texture on all subtools?

Hey guys,
Ok first off I know I can assign a different texture per subtool, which is great, but I actually want to assign the same texture to every subtool, and I have like 10 of them. So is there a way to assign it to all of them at the same time in 3.1? this would be nice, because it doesnt seem to reload the texture when I save it out again. When I opened the file after saving my texture differently, it seemed to have cached the old texture or somehting. Anyways, I just would like to apply a single texture to all my tools easily, how can i do this? Thanks

also, this has been happening, when I save my bmp file that I am using out in photoshop, zbrush automatically crashes. This has happened everytime, is there a way around this?

Question 1: No, you’d need to assign the texture manually to each SubTool.

Question 2: What are the exact steps that you’re following that will result in a crash?

question 1: That is something you guys should think about changing, it is very time consuming and not a very good workflow. Everytime I saved my file out, it didnt update and I had to go to each subtool and apply it. Also it would be nice to just have a way to apply one texture to everything, just like having one shader in any 3d app. I like this new ability, but it seems like you wouldnt want to take away the old way as well.

question 2: I am in zbrush, then I switch to photoshop, change what I like, then save the psd or bmp file, and zbrush crashes in the background. I am only using a 2048 texture. This happened every time, kind of sucks, makes editing my texture pretty painful.

I might switch over to the pc version, the mac one is so incomplete. Do you know if it is possible to ask for a pc license until they release 3.5 where I can hope most the stuff is fixed?
