Lowpoly modeling in zbrush?

Hi all.

How can i make a lowpoly model in zb?(make evry thing in zb)

zspheres are a good way to start.
if you set the res in the transform palette to 1 before you start then the zspheres should create the minimum amount of geomertry to define the shape.

you should also look into retopo and normal/displacement maps, to get the best out of a lowpoly model.

if the model was subdivided in zbrush then just reduce the sub level,

if it has come from another package or you have deleted the lower sub levels, then you may be able to use the reconstruct subdivides to lower the ploy count.
however this works best when the model has been divided in zbrush and will not work if the reduction will create tri’s.
try viewing some of the vids in the zclass room ( theres a link at the top of the page)

ps
redoing the topology and then projecting the higher detail is another good way to keep your high detail whilst still lowering the poly count ( normal or displacement maps will be required to see high detail on a low poly model)

box modeling is realy only for base meshes in zbrush to add high detail you will need to use the sculpt functions.

if you wish to produce mid res characters with out sculpting you should try blender www.blender.org

and yes pritty much any thing can be box modeld (as long as your good enough) however most people prefer poly by poly for creating humans.
