I have a low poly armor model and I want to make a detail pass on zbrush, but when I subdivide the geometry sharp edges of the model are lost. When I subdivide without smooth, it does not smooth the middle part of the armor. here are the pictures Low Poly Model:subdivide with smoothingsubdivide without smoothingfirst subdivide without smoothing and then subdivide with smooting on All I wanted is having smooth middle part and protecting sharp edges of the armor
You need to crease your edges.
tool.geometry.crease
thank alot I did not kwow that I must press crease button with Shift to protect edges, they should make another button or checkbox for this purpose
