I need to model hair that is relatively low poly (about 90.000 to 120.000 polys) made of textured strips with transparency. I think you can set up Fibermesh with a profile for a wide strip (more or less) and it can also UV map the fibers.
It is the kind of hair used for renders or games.
I have seen some people final models done with fibermesh but don’t know well how they made it.
Have you found a good technique for this? What settings do you use for fibermesh? Do you know of any good tutorials about doing hair of this kind using Fibermesh?
