Lost start up options after upgrading to build 3.2 for MAC

Hello, I am new to ZBrush. I just upgraded to version 3.2 on my Intel Mac (running Snow Leopard) and now I don’t get any start-up options like; load brush tool, import an OBJ, etc… Also, DefaultZscript doesn’t reset options, neither does "preferences/Init ZBrush. If I open up build 3.12… I do get the appropriate start-up. What I do get in 3.2, is a PolyShpere…

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on how to remedy this?

Thanks for your time.

3.12 was the last version to use that startup screen. 3.2 transitions toward version 3.5 which uses Light Box to give much expanded capabilities.

Just because you don’t have a startup screen that has those options doesn’t mean you can’t do anything. You can still load a model using Tool>Load Tool or Tool>Import. All the models that have been included with earlier versions are still there, located in the ZTools folder.

You can copy the startup script from zbrush 3.12 to 3.2

I don’t get any issues with this but always backup your old files just in case.

Thank you for the reply. I wasn’t sure if there was something buggy about my installation or if it was supposed to be like this.
