hi,
i was trying to texture this in texture master - it was looking quite sharp and detailed until i clicked on ‘pick’ and it did its calculations and i was left with a much less crisp , sort of softer version - the colors stayed true - just the depth disappeared.
when i was messing around testing textures on a plain sphere it was fine after ‘picking’ - what did i do wrong? i don’t think i did anything different.
any ideas?
i’m using the 1.55b demo
thanks
maybe the texture resolution was too low for the mesh. i dunno though i’m a newbie still.
hi gettarobox,
thanks for your suggestion - i guess i’m even more of a newbie than you - because i dont know what you mean or what i would do to fix that. can you or anyone tell me more?
thanks
Hi Ron,
The texture section opens out with more choices - within that is a selector to create a texture size of your choice rather than the default size - choose sizes then press>new.
You can assign new textures on the fly whilst working if you think the existing resolution is too small. Also increasing the rgb of the brush when dropped for painting value can help with the fuzzy issue.
There’s loads of documentation throughout the forum on this and other projection master/texture master issues - a search should reward you with even more tips.
thanks ‘boozy’
that’s exactly what i needed!
i really like your work by the way!
cheers
