:: Lorna :: sexy bitch

Hi guys!

After a typical exhausted challenge always we must present our pieces for the entire comunity around the world.

Lorna is a fictional character for a famous erotic comic. Better a explanation from wikipedia.

“One of his most recurring characters is Lorna, a Barbarella-like space adventurer who travels the galaxy accompanied by two droids, the R2D2-like ADL and the C3PO-like Arnold. Arnold’s main function is to satisfy the ever-passionate Lorna whenever there are no human males, females or suitably endowed aliens available. Also, appropriately enough, Lorna’s principal enemy, the crimelord Mouse, bears some resemblance to Jabba the Hutt.”

I used Zbrush for the entire high modeling, 3dsmax for low poly modeling and potoshop for the textures and xnormal for baking.

I hope you enjoy it!

Impressive, great design.
good work ! :+1:

Awesome work !

this is killer stuff man, so much style both in the modeling and texturing. Top Notch character :+1:

Reallly nice!!!
hey Ballo could you tell us your creation process?

This is one of the coolest and prettier model I’ve seen in ages. I remember Lorna, from the time I used to read Heavy Metal magazine, she’s a very cool char. Excellente work man, five stars to me. Good luck on the contest!

I really love this project. The outfit and sexy style is really cool. No space guns? Who broke the disco ball?

Are you going to do more renders with her?

WOW… dude - that’s awesome! Love this character!!! Full of personality and character… great work man! :+1:

Great likeliness and render style. Looks just like she’s out of one of Azpiri’s books. Top row stuff! :+1:

Very stylized with lots of character, and sex appeal! :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

just out of curiosity… do you hand paint, either in pollypaint or a old school 2d app, the 2 extra maps spec and gloss… or is there some unknown to me functions like the normal map generator you used inside zbrush to help make them… maybe matcap baking or something?

This is pretty badass. she has one big camelToe… hehehe.j/k.really Nice piece. Loving it.

Very cool work! :+1:

Thanks Cherub, cooly08, branduart, ncollings.

Thanks Ronaldo, the process is very simple.

  1. Make test, skecth 3d in zbrush with base mesh with a lot of drawings to search a good proportions.
  2. Make concept, study for cloth and colour.
  3. Make lowpoly and uvs.
  4. Clean low poly to have a clean mesh to sculpt or make special basemeshes as at hair.
  5. Sculpt.
  6. Normal test inside Zbrush with zmapper.
  7. Export High and low meshes and bake in Xnormal.
  8. Combine, and paint in potoshop.

Thanks Jramauri, I’m glad you like her. Heavy Metal was a good magazine, I like to collect them.

Thanks Mokthmagicman. I was thinking to make a space guns, but like one of my references was Charlie’s Angels I decided to make just retro guns.
I guess she broke the disco ball…hehee

mmhh…No just others renders, I’m thinking to make a little test with animation.

Thanks Chindian, Cezar Souza, Webhead.

I don’t like polypaint because in this case I was painting the lowpoly version, I just use polypaint or zapplink to paint high models. I did of the textures in potoshop, old school rules!

Thanks Dagoned, thanks Roger!!!

Thanks a lot!

Cheers!

I love the 1970’s charlies angels style. Reminds me of french comic art.

uber fantastic! what realtime engine did you use ?
