Some recent experiments with a new method of modelling:
C&C always welcome,
Kircho
Can you share your new method?
Thanks
Andreseloy
thats a huge nose! its a nice model though, maybe little more of chin, but depends of the charaterization you wanted to put. and the only thing it doesnt work really are the iris of the eyes, are kinda of small for that huge eyes
I don’t know if it is intentional or you simply ran out of time, but I like the style of this model. It looks cool with angular volume defining edges and the fleshy main features of the eyes, nose and mouth.
I especially like the eyes, point well taken on your critique of my zsketches. The head seems slightly characterized and so is hard to critque. The lips at least have a bit too much Max Factor over them and the upsampling of the image is blurring the lovely details I know are there. I want to see more from you Kircho
Btw, I can see you share the same adversion towards modeling ears as I do
andreseloy, I will be glad to share it after I perfect it. But in the meanwhile take a hint from my clue(Loomis and Me) to the educational material of Andrew Loomis, I’ve basically done a direct translation of these idea’s into 3d. What is new, at least for me is the novel method I’m using to translate it.

Hi DarK ZanatoS, if you check back with my gallery you’ll see that the big nose is part of my style - perhaps one day I’ll figure out what phsycological defect drives me to it
Nicely spotted, on the iris issue, I had’nt noticed that at all.

TVeyes, your comments are most appriciated. With this new modelling method I can for the first time say that it was intentional, the style I mean - accept for maybe the color of the lips
Btw, I can see you share the same adversion towards modeling ears as I do
When I started out modelling the idea was to perfect the various forms of the face working toward the ears as the final challenge. I tend not to add years because I’ve never been able to perfect the rest of the features. Finally however, with this new modelling method, I think I have or will and you’ll start to see the addition of years to my models.
Cheers,
Kircho
