Long time no wip... Skeletor.

It’s been a good long while since I’ve posted around these parts. Just wanted to share a WIP. Started Saturday afternoon with Zspheres, retopoed and in the detailing process for the torso and head… hands clothing etc still off in the future.

very great/unique design and good execution. im a bit jealous :stuck_out_tongue: but without the “cape” it looks more creepy. i like the first pic.

I like the muscles and that effect of a very elastic tissue all around them.
One thing I found a bit strange is the head: I don’t know if it should be a little bigger or a little forward giving more “S” shape to shoulders/neck.
Anyway, cool the design and the material.

I’m not sure about the hood on or off, but I agree it looks sick both ways. I think the hood will have to be blown off in some sort of chase scene at one point in time! :smiley:

Hey dust. You might be on to something with the forward backwards positioning… the head scale is right where I want it, but it may be a good idea to scootch it forward a bit. Thanks!:+1:

Hey Pat. Yeah, it’s skeletor right? Primarily it’s going to be up, but I want to do some renders were it’s back to show off the sculpt, and just show him in a different way… I have some ideas for the flesh to bone transition I want to work on tonight.

Got some work done on the head this evening after work… some detailing and proportion fixes. Still not sure about the flesh to bone transition, but here we go :D:evil:

OK, finally ‘done’ with the skull. I don’t think I’ll touch it again until I do some fine detailing on the whole body for skin texture.
