Locking in Zsphere distance

Hey,

I’m attempting some basic rigging in Zbrush 3.1 using Zspheres. When I create the skeleton and bind to the mesh, the Zspheres still retain all their original attributes. The problem is when I move their position, their distance changes, which in turn changes the proportions of the model.

My question is, how do you limit the length while moving Zspheres? How do I keep the distance between two Zspheres consistant when moving them?

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Don’t think you can do that with ZSpheres. Try using Transpose instead. If you rotate an arm from the shoulder using Transpose, you’re guaranteed not to get any translation in the movement because you’re in Rotate mode.
