The list of things possible to do is too long to post. What it can’t do would be shorter I think. Learn how it(the software)works by reading and experimenting. The Axis thing helps considerably. Knowledge is power
You can turn on your timeline slider and set a key for the location you want to store.
While this doesn’t remove the ability to move your object, it does give you a fast way to return to the stored point if you happen to move your camera. Axis plugin can do this, and you can also store views with Zapplink or Imageplane.
