Not sure what happened to this feature - maybe I am missing something somewhere in ZB4R2 but I wanted to ask here…
When an area of a mesh is locally subdivided does ZBrush still auto polygroup the transition area and the area that gets increased density? I have tried this in the new version and it doesn’t seem to work like I remember it in the old version.
Workflow:
- Mask area that you want to increase poly-density.
- Invert mask
- Lower to sud-div level 1
- Subdivide
- Polygroups created for regular geo density part of subtool, transition geo part of subtool, and increased geo density part of subtool.
