I’m using Zbrush 3.12, and when creating new topology the Local Transformations button doesn’t seem to work. Regardless of what bits of the model are showing, or where on the model I last clicked, it still rotates around the object’s centre. It works as expected when not doing retopology.
From other threads I’ve read it seems this should work. Is this a Mac problem, or am I just doing something wrong?
Thanks, I’m really loving this upgrade. So much good stuff to learn.
Sorry, my mistake, I figured it out ten minutes after posting!
I was thinking it would rotate around the last zsphere you clicked on, but it rotates around the last point you click on on the Adaptive Preview.
So do an Adaptive Preview, click on a point and then go back to creating new topology and everything rotates as expected.
Hope this helps someone else…
