Hi in my preferences > undo history I have Enabled Saving on because I want to make a video of my undo history for my gf so she can see how I made it
Anyway been working on it for 4 days and it crashed today… All the undo history is lost after loading in the quick save but under preferences > QuickSave : Skip History is disabled so I assumed the QuickSave should be saving the models history?
How do I go about getting my history back for my model?
I am assuming you never actually saved the file…ever.

Always repeat always save your project with a name. Work a while and save with a new name for a backup. It will help avoid problems. I have all but disabled the AutoSave feature(maxed out the settings) due to the fact I may be doing something at the time the program decides to ‘do its thing’ which can cause ‘issues’.
well good advice Doug but Zbrush quicksave makes it seem like history is saved, I have the model and backups but none seem to have history even though it says that it should?
So to close this up there is no way of getting the edit history from a quicksave?
Is skip loading enabled by any chance?
No skip loading is gray, well… it’s a shame, really looked forward to showing my gf it
With your new knowledge and practice thus far, you may be able to recreate it in a day or less. Tools and methods take time to master.
Be sure to check out the Movie pallette covered in the documentation. Many possibilities exist.
