Load Alpha from Spotlight into Alpha slot of brush

Hi. How do I load an alpha from the spotlight browser directly into the particular brush that I’m working with?

According to the Zbrush online docs, I should do this:

“To load a file into the Texture or Alpha palette, hold Shift and double-click.” [LINK]

But I can’t get it to work…

Don’t hold Shift. That would load it into the Smooth brush, since that’s the selected brush while Shift is held. Instead, just double-click on the desired Alpha. Make sure you’re in the Alpha tab of LightBox, though, since the Texture tab loads into the Texture slot.
