a couple of week ago ive sent a viking concept board and after that ive found a better way to do it so i post the second concept board. the character are made in zbrush and i use photoshop to composite the picture.
Great style and great pic. Good for illustration work too.
Using zbrush for a 2.5D painting programme is great, I have not yet practiced enough yet but have a few concepts sitting in a sketch book.
This is inspirational mate. Good job.
This one of my first post that im proud to show here ans i didint have a lot of comment on itexcept from you and it touch me very much. thank you make me believe i can go on this way!!
here my none head model
…Goliath revival
Maybe a little more blurry ?
Have happy Zbrushing!
i diddnt know how to exactly take the comment of french pilou who by the way i foind excellent! more blurry?? is that was mean to be ironic? but nevermind my teacher did find that i have some problem with that so i correct some of the focus on the pict especially on the giant. Sorry for the giant format too hehe it was one of the criter for that class the concept board is mean to be project on a large screen.
This is a great concept. Everything should be in focus at this distance.Try a
difusion layer [or layers] past the foreground hill. The atmosphere difuses distance but focus stays the same. Play around with desaturating the b/g
a bit.
cheers
David
Very nice concept.
i particularly like the colours, almost like a cartoon. Well done indeed.
Paul.
more blurry?? is that was mean to be ironic?
It was the “exagerate interrogate form” so not ironic just descriptive = it’s too blurry
Last is better but now the “paper weft” is maybe a little too heavy
Ps Are you “Ysengrin” the wolf (on the right) draw by Benjamin Rabier from “Le roman de Renard”?

I use to read a comic book in wich one of two young boy who were actually twins brother use to change himself into a wolf! but it was a complete new personality who appears , a different character not just him transform in wolf and the name of the wolf was Ysengrin. But I heard also about the novel you talk about … However which is the best explanation dosnt matter the fact that its a great nickname hehe,
as for the ironicisme dont bother im not that picky it is just that as im not a english man i was not sure to understand correctly the meaning !
