So I just started trying out Zbrush, and whenever I use a 2.5d tool like Eraser, I can’t click on the edit button any more. Told you it’s a simple problem. So, how can I get back to rotating my model? Thanks
You actually named the problem in your post. The Eraser brush is a 2.5D tool. It’s not 3D. This means that it operates on pixols rather than polygons. Switching to it drops your model into 2.5D, which discards all data that’s not currently visible to the camera. This means that there’s no way to get it back into 3D.
The 2.5D brushes are used for painting scenes. The 3D brushes (found in the Brush palette) are used for sculpting models.
