Little "bumps" in mesh

When I’m sculpting, I get “bumps” in the mesh that I cannot smooth out…it’s weird. I don’t know if it’s from having “dots” on instead of freehand, which at times I forget to switch over when restarting zbrush or not. I’ve included two screen grabs of the back of my latest model, where there’s a cluster. Is there a way to fix this? It doesn’t look like the mesh is pulling…

hold shift+lmb
keep holding lmb
release shift

This is the smoothing method made to use for triangles (typically needed for dynamesh models).

when I did what you said I got some weird zoom tool. LMB? or IMB? I’m still looking up my issue on google and I’m not finding anything…:frowning:

LMB = left mouse button

If you start to use the smooth brush and release shift while still holding down on the mouse, it uses a different smoothing algorithm that can help when smoothing areas that have these kind of poles in the topology.

dear god…I know that. Left mouse button. My boyfriend even JUST told me that when I asked what LMB was. LOL. I’ll try it now.

Thank you! It worked! The triangles are still visible in polyframe, and if I look closely, but it’s so much smoother:) I found it works better if I drop down a few subdivisions.
