Incredible!
In a few days, there will be new WIPs on his thread…
Hi Sivia,
great modelling and great work. The only crit is that it´s maybe too clean. Have you tried to put a more muddy look in that or a little blur to the creature? less contrasts and this sort. It could push the realism! But overall great image!
greetings,
xbucket
Yes! I made different versions (…) We have choosed the first one because I love these meshes and wanted to see a little bit more details for the critters, whereas, that’s true, underwater it’s not so clean.
So… This is one of the first versions, with more blur. Personnally, even if it’s more realistic (I’m diving and love to see vivid life in seabeds), I prefer the first one. Anyway, I hope you’ll like!

I’ve always been a fan of dinos! nice job, any vid in the future you think for recreating prehistoric life?
Well This is what zbrush was born to do!
Great work!
Steve
do you got any infor on some inexpensive 3d print services or printers?
I might like to try that.
blessings - pete
Hi nautilus,
This is the only inexpensive 3d printer service I’ve seen mentioned on some forums:
I wouldn’t mind more info on printers too if anyone knows.
asked us to see different steps. Here are some wips and the textured version before integration in Photoshop.
When we did this picture, a few months ago, I was beginning on ZBrush and din’t think to memorize the reglages of lights, materials, etc… (sorry!)
Just made a best render in ZB and when I liked, export in photoshop. In the future, i’ll keep all the steps to show more and be able to give more explanations…
One of the really cool things on this forum is to share and we are glad if we can do it!!!
That’s great, many thanks for sharing. I always find it interesting to see the working steps.
awesome work man!!
I am National Geographic and Discovery channel ardent watcher
did you see “Walking with Dinosaurs”
they had creatures akin to what you have created.
Beautiful work.
I like the murkiness of the water, gives the creature life
Fabulous job. Thanks for showing the step. I only started using Zspheres and edge loops in ZB this week so it helps a lot.
Really great work guys! Thanks for sharing and for showing the steps you took. This is an awesome use of ZSpheres!

Sylvia, I had To stop and pinch myself, your work is amazing. I’ve had an opportunity to work with some of the best Dino sculptors in Canada and your work is inspiring to see. Makes me want to scratch the itch and do some of my own. Your web page is great I esspecially like the demo reals. Can’t wait to see more from you in the future.
