Called a Live CD …

I am realy impressed on KDE, it is much funner than windows and can utilize all my hardware…
Not much out there in the way of software, but what was included on the CD was impressive Games, Applications, browsers,Multimedia stuff!! OMG! it was sooo fun,
And the coolest part is my system is running at Full Speed!!!

Here is a Realy Small Live CD based on KNOPPIX… it is made to fit on a 50MB Buisnesscard CD!!! This is the fastest I have ever browsed the net! pages loaded almost instantly!

There are way to make your own! I am in the process of makeing just Knoppix with WACOM capabilitys, just a matter of adding the Drivers, and editing some files, and VOLLA!! My own Opperating system 
Linux is verry fast with my CD burner also, I did a full audio CD in 4.2 minuets 
Windows XP i get one in 6 minuets.
This is alot of fun , and a risk free way for me to try out LINUX!!
There are literaly Hundreds of Live CD’s Out there, for everything from game servers, to 3d applications, to Linux that works on Xbox systems
I suggest doing it first with No commandline…
when it says BOOT> this is where you put in cheatcodes…
I suggest useing a RAMdisk insted of running off CD… use this :
KONOPPIX toram
this makes it so you can use the CD rom after Bootup… also everything Runs ALOT FASTER!!!
For certain tasks, I am going to start useing Linux…

BTW, If you want to surf the net, and leave nothing in your history, this is a great way to do it… USeing the CD dosent leave anything behind as far as History, or Cookies!
