Lines in Normal Maps

Hey All, Sorry if this double posts, I am having problems with Normal maps, I am getting lines on the lip area as shown below in the image, I tried upping the raycasting settings but that didnt help, I checked the UVS and the UV area is not overlapping but seems quite small compared to the others could this be the problem, also the lines dont seem to be visible on the actual map. Any ideas Cheers

It could be that there’s not enough space like you said, if there’s only 1 pixel on your map it will stretch that out and could lead to what you have encountered.

:smiley: Hi thats exactly what it was, thanks for your help. I also found that overlapping UVS also can cause similar lines.
