Lines at UV Border

So, im having this very obnoxious texturing problem where I get a dark line on my model at every UV border.
None of my Uvs overlap, and the textures render fine in maya, but the lines are rather distracting while texturing inside zbrush

Maybe theres some display setting somewhere that Im missing? On the picture below its just a flat gray texture applied. This happens if i use my own UVs, guv, auv, etc.

Maya and ZBrush don’t register the textures in precisely the same way. The fact is that ZBrush is a bit more precise than Maya is. There isn’t a setting in ZBrush that will remove the lines, but you can ensure that they will not appear in Maya by pressing Tool>Texture>Fix Seams after you’ve finished texturing. This will overpaint the UV’s around the edges, which will keep the seams from being visible.

Thanks aurick- i think we should all pitch in and make one of those “donate to aurick” paypal accounts.

I actually found what my problem was- I had been using my bump map to displace the model while doing color, but i hadnt saved the alpha with the tool so the model was still displacing, but with no alpha to use.
Loaded one back in, and im good to go
