pleas!!!help me !!! anyone!

The problem is you’re asking a ZBrush forum for advice on how to use LightWave. Not that people here wouldn’t be happy to help you if they knew the answer to your problem – ZBC members are a very helpful lot. It’s just that people are a lot less likely to know the answer to your question than members of a LightWave forum might be.

export model out of zbrush.
Import into Modellor,Press The Tab key to sub patch it, save it.
Fire up layout, load the object. Go to Object properties. Then the “deformations” tab, click on add displacement. Add the NormalDisplacement plugin that you have downloaded.(not lightwave’s own) adjust to taste Using your normal map generated from zbrush.
Go back to the geometry tab and there will be two sub-patch level boxes, one for display and one for the actual render. Adjust the render subpatch setting to 15 to start with then render. Sub-division should be set to first

Or…you could read the “there and back again” tutorial.

Also for any LIGHTWAVE users

When you bring any MAPs from ZBRUSH to–> LIGHTWAVE
You have too first, “FLIP IT on THE VERTICAL” And it works Great!

Good LUck!

HI

I have a new displacement pluggin for Lightwave that might help you.

Please try it and let me know. I know for a fact it works great for me, and it’s about 5 times faster then the standard plugin that comes with Lightwave.

By the way it is for OSX. I hope that works for you.

GoOD LUck !
