Lightbox WWW not working on OSX? (answered)

Has anyone been able to use the WWW in Lightbox successfully to connect to the Internet? Doesn’t seem to do anything at all and has no supporting documentation on the matter… configuration or settings.

Note to Mac users: The LightBox web-access plugins are not included with the current download for Mac. They will be made available to download at a later date.

Thanks for the info Richard… much appreciated.

Why am I not surprised. Can’t wait to find out all the other doors that lead to nothing and buttons that don’t work. So much for complete simultaneous release for Win & Mac.

Actually I can’t think of anything else that is in the Windows version and not in the Mac. And as the feature is a plugin it will be made available without the need to update ZBrush itself.

Any updates yet ?

Any firm future date when lightbox/www will work on the Mac? I was looking forward to using this feature since it was first shown in the Introducing ZB4 video. Please don’t keep us waiting too long!

What about Folders in the OSX Version? Don’t know if they are not displayed because of my 13" MacBook Pro Display, but in my Windows Version there is in every Category the possibilty to navigate to other folders by pressing the subfolder icon… this is missing in my osx version of 4.0.
Does anyone know how i can navigate to other folders in Lightbox? Or does anyone know how to import my texture library? Don’t want to copy them all in one texture folder.

I’m also using ZBrush on OSX, and was disappointed to see that the web search feature isn’t working in Lightbox, nor does folder navigation seem to work. Does anyone know if a fix will be coming soon for this? Sure would be nice to have this functionality on the Mac…

Hello (hello.hello.hello)?? Echo (echo.echo.echo)

Is there still no way to search the web in Lightbox for the Mac? Aurick, where are you?

Wow thanks for R2! I still am disappointed that for OSX users can’t use the www feature. This thread by the way was originally for the R1 version. Still a no go. :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:
