Lightbox at Startup

I’m having issues with Lightbox which invariably appears at every startup, despite having previously deactivated it in the Preference palette, saving the tool or project, and closing down the program. Not sure if there is a step I’m missing. Thank you in advance.

Once you turn off lightbox under Preferences, you need to save the configuration. Preference>Config>Save Config

Okay, I didn’t see a “save configuration” in the Config sub-palette , so I opted [like a knuckle head perhaps] for Store Config and now I can’t use the undo/redo in Edit palette. Were you referring to Save Ui? I did try Restore Standard UI, but still no undo/redo option in Edit. Should add I did read documentation on Config which, quite frankly, leaves me more confused. Thanks for your help!

My Bad, I was meant to say “Store Config”. Have you tried “Init Zbrush” and then turn off lightbox at start up and then “Store Config”.

Turing off Lightbox in Prefs is hit and miss for some of us. For me it stays off for a couple of weeks and then comes back on again. It isn’t a big deal for me personally, I just hit comma to disappear Lightbox for that session.

never mind, i misread the issue.

Wyattfox: Well, as I wrote earlier, I did initially hit Store Config, but then the undo/redo button in Edit froze up and I had I to start over hitting Init Zbrush. Fortunately it doesn’t come on anymore and my Edit button works now. Regardless, thank you very much for your help.
