light in real time

hello guys :slight_smile:
when i try change light placement when sculpting in instance say in rs_greyClayExtrem material it not make change…i check and find that just in basic matriel 2 is work in preview render mode…so there have way make it work in other material too?

All MatCap materials use a light map that’s part of the material itself. As such, they don’t respond to changes in the Light palette. If you want to adjust the lighting using the Light palette you need to use one of the many non-MatCap materials.
