Light Box Open At Launch setting won't stay off, seems to turn itself back on?

I keep turning off the Preferences / Light Box / Open At Launch button, and saving my UI config.

But a lot of the time when I start up Zbrush, Light box opens at launch. I go check the Open At Launch setting and its back on again.

Why wont this setting stay off? How can I never have Light box start on launch?

Most people use a custom Startup macro to set some things like that. Here’s mine.

Perhaps you did Save UI for the second step instead of Store Config?

After turning off “Open at Launch”, click Preferences > Config > Store Config.

I find that the button turns itself on when I’m storing the config but is OK if you turn off the Open at Launch button and then store a second time, perhaps after a restart.

Thanks everyone.

So as Marcus said,the glitch, is you cannot hit store config with out the start light box at launch button coming on by its self.

I tried to “do it twice” as Marcus recommended seems to work.

Still trying to understand this sequence of things completely.
