Layers bug? 4r6

After hours of grueling problems with the transpose master, I decided to use the transpose brush instead. I wanted to be able to go back and fourth to tpose to keep the symetry; so I created a layer.

A few hours later, everything looks nice. I turn of the rec on the layer, and it explodes. Or rather the hands seem to want to go another direction.

I got the same problem while using the transpose master with the layer option turned on. So it must be a problem with the layers. Or? Has anyone but me experienced this problem?

The basemesh seems fine, no double edges, no inverted polygons or anything like that.

Help plz

I remember reading something about being in a certain subdivision level when you hit record…maybe further search will find it for you. http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?176892-Turning-off-recording-layer-causes-noise-on-the-model&highlight=layers+bug

Thakyou for the quick reply. Though I don’t have the exact problem that they discuss in this thread.

Not giving up I tried to scale down al the subtools by using export settings and then appending them again to a new tool. Then I made a new pose on a new layer. This seems to do the trick, but now when I don’t have the problems with the hands moving I get the problem with the noise that they bring up in the thread that you linked me… Maybe I scaled it down to much and that’s why I get this strange noise artefacts?

Still though. Would be nice if the transpose master would work :frowning:
