What kind of animation and what kind of meshes? Do you mean a morph animation? Have the meshes the same topology?
hello altea
in the beginning was the same topology… then i need to use dynamesh. i will explain you, i have a dragon with the closed mouth and i would like to change to the open mouth tool, will be great to see the process like the ‘layers’ animation.
many thanks

You can not really create animation in Zbrush but you can create the morph targets for other programs that have that feature (Max, Maya etc). Having said that you can use the timeline in Zbrush and create animation points based in the layers sliders position but mostly as a preview tool.
You can create the morph targets with layers storing each pose in different layers. You can test them with the sliders of the layers and export them to those programs. You need to keep the same topology. Morph targets will animate moving in straight lines the verts with the same ID. This forces to have the adequate number of intermediate positions.
yes, i know that altea
unafortunately, sometimes is necesary to use dynamesh to get extra polygons, i dont know how proceed if i need dynamesh, for example to create a morph of a ‘reaper’ of blade.
many many thanks altea
