Trying to paint a model using the layer brush to create polygroups, following the tutorials for 3.5 in the document folder. However when I paint it doesnt fill the brush with the colour, only speckley, and im not using a spray stroke just freehand, tried dots to and it does the same. Heres a screen shot. Very confused, but im very much new to it! 
(the filled circle of yellow is where the brush is).
