This is a very early concept on a robot I plan to model, rigg, and animate into
a live shot. I started with very simple geometry from maya, and took into zbrush
to sculpt some design elements, then some comp in photoshop for some look dev//

I like concepting in Zbrush because it allows me to figure out the articulation of how the whole components of the robot will move. As as of now, I'm pretty busy with work so I don't get to work on him much. but, stay tuned for updates ![Cyprox_by_Ismael.jpg|1120x1591](upload://4p4BpvpnIwZsrwKWx5oMRzGtUy0.jpeg)

thanx fellahs! I appreciate your feedback : )

thanx everyone. I’ve seen the work on Zbrush Central before but this is my first time posting. I must admit it’s a lot of fun!! I can’t believe how many people are on here giving feed back and complementing the work.

I got some screen caps from the cyprox/ robot above. the main reason for this guy is to practice on hard surfaces.

u made all hardsurf into zbrush ?

P.s
I like the F.uck subtool name ahahah

some snapshots showing the work flow in Zbrush : )

this is a final render comp in Maya. Using SSS_simple.
I’m not fully happy with overall look. I got alot of: “you should make him look more creature like” and at the same time alot of " you should make him look like the actual character" goin on in my head. so what you see here is kind of both.

instantly recognized Slithe! good job

I thought it be a great Idea to make the sequel to “The Professional” so here’s my take on it. I did the design on Mathilda as an older young lady using Natalie Portman as reference. I was going for the mom look, nuthing too extreme or over rated, but subtle. except she’ll still be a badass… though I’m still figuring out some design elements. Any suggestions?

“Only beginners use snipers.”

Also, I don’t think she’d be wearing heels, and she’d definitely have more places or pockets to hold other weapons such as sidearms and grenades. But pretty cool job on her face.

Absolutely great so far!!! Can’t wait to see more!

Absolutely great work! :+1: :+1: :+1:

Great! I like the pose! :+1:

Great work! SSSLithe is looking good. Not sure about the more muscular, heroic frame. As a sculpt, it works, and I know you were going for a departure, but I think the fatter and shorter features of the original design lend better to the nature of the character being sneaky and devious.

really impressive  :+1: :+1:

I’d like to see more of Mathilda! It looked like a great start, you had the likeness down well and the concept looked good. Like someone else pointed out, I think it would be good to remove the high-heels. They are just cumbersome and serve no purpose. I know Hollywood doesn’t care about that but since I thought the original movie was so awesome and with little flashy Hollywood glitz it would be nice to retain that feeling in the mature version. I think she would dress very low key, just like her mentor, to blend in with the crowd.

It would be great to see that concept taken further! Your goblin was nicely modeled, good job.
