‘Afternoon all . . . :slight_smile:

I haven’t had a lot of time lately for creating in Zbrush, so I figured I’d put together something before one of the moderators removes me from the forum, for not posting any images. I worked on this last night & today, although I don’t know if it’s quite ready for posting or not, I couldn’t think of anything else to add, without cluttering up the image. :wink:

I realize that the majority of image posts lately are of a science fiction, fantasy or monster type nature, but I figured I’d do something that has a little bit of realism to it. Hope it doesn’t bore anybody? :rolleyes:

The image is a complete Zbrush creation through the rendering, then I imported it into PhotoShop for some shading, edge smoothing & touch up, also for the tear drop & lense flare. :wink:

If anybody has any constructive criticism or comments, please feel free. :stuck_out_tongue:

Very moving piece Kruzr. The eyes say it all and I like the subtle flare/tear on the left.

Absolutely awesome, Mark! I’d been starting to wonder if you ever posted more than awesome advice. LOL Seriously, I don’t think there’s anything that you could have done to make it better. The expression just speaks volumes. Wonderful characterization.

Something about seeing a sad clown, all those smiles painted on the outside and a river of sorrow inside, classic tradgedy.

Wonderful image kruzr, it really invokes feeling.

OMG Kruzr, He’s adorable! I absolutely love him. My mother collected sad clowns, and when she passed away my dad gave me her whole collection. I may have to print this out and frame it :slight_smile: Brought a tear to my eye :frowning:

That’s the reason that I love him: he is
not a monster but a poor very sad looking clown I would
like to help him to laugh again! The flowers
on his head make me smile!
