Latest Beta work

Hey Zbrushers I just wanted to share
some more results from the Beta.

I think you will like the software when it
comes out!!

Dave

WOW… Love the texture on the rhino and that devil guy is fantastic! :+1: :+1: :+1:

Hi Dave, was that low rez rhino also made in Z? =]

Wonderful work as usual!

No the lowRez was done in Maya. Just a quicky. That could have been done with the
new Beta though very simply.

Thanks guys!

Fabulous work !

The second one is my favorite. Really amazing.

I hope to see more soon

Yes, the skin on that rhino looks wonderful. Oh, please let it be released soon
 The wait is driving me nuts, I’m smoking four packs a day here

It’s not the son of “Guillaume Tell” for sure
Pilou

argh!!!

super hyper excellent modeling !! :+1: :+1:

and nice using of displacement/normal map !

ok guys…WHEN! Zbrush next version ???
when when when !!

When it’s ready. Which will be soon. That’s really all that I can say, but more information is going to be made available in the near future.

I understand everyone is very anxious to get your hands on it, and believe me when I say that it’s going to be worth the wait. But since this is the last of the free upgrades, we’re working extra hard to make sure everyone gets the best value in CG.

grrrr Matt … “When it’s ready”!!

:grimacing: :grimacing: :+1: :grimacing: :grimacing: I was hoping we would get to see some new eye candy. Thanks for sharing! :+1:

Damn…thats sweet.
I reeeealy hope the new interface will be more user friendly

This is just amazing!
I really can’t wait.

incredible simply incredible

If it’s before Christmas, then I’ll be very happy - it will give me time to play.

Very cool! Was the second image all Zbrush? I was wondering if the helmet was created in ZB or just Maya.
Big creature, or little arrows?

great work and teaser as far as the upgrade
till i master the infinite combinations the current version is capable of(never happen  i can wait!

tease me,tease me,tease me,'till I lose controll - superb work

Forget the new zbrush…I’m more excited about this work!
This is positivly the best 3d models I have ever seen …just makes me dizzy cotemplating how you went about doing all that detail!!

I really appricate you taking the time to show us your works SC, I don’t know quite how to decribe my admiration for it , but to say that you have raised the bar for all of us here and provided me personally with something to really reach for.

Well done once again

—ps I’m very curious about the fact that the humaoid creature head is shown in two different poses. Is this a feature of the new zbrush or something you guys have going at weta, Becuase I’m pretty shure you did’nt model that face twice :))–

Take care

Kircho

Seeing all this squillion poly finery has got me wondering; can the high end apps deal with all these polys. Lightwave could, but chugs a bit, and I’ve had no joy getting high density meshes into Max so far. I’m assuming Maya and Softimage can deal with this stuff & have the tools to do something effective with animating these point clouds. Or is that not the case? Has our little David got something the Goliaths can’t handle?
