Last OSX Update

I had a few problems on my Intel Mac after the latest automatic mega update of OSX.
I had to go and download the full patch which then resolved the little headaches.

So, if you have one or more apps which do not want to start any more, then download and run that upgrade. Completely harmless, you can run it even when the automatic update was applied. I bet it was somethign with the permissions or so, but I am to lazy to drill deeper. The Full Download solved everything.

I just installed the Update for Intel Macs, and Zbrush started perfectly 3x times in a row.

YYEAH!!

Ok so ZB works fine now but the Mac is having panic attacks

I believe the software updater was only 165 mb or 180 mb. This file is 300 so it’s as you saw a full update…

I still got crashes, then I called AppleCare. They say to use your Disk Aid or something, back up your HD, then update all your 3rd party apps to the last version before starting them again.

Though I didn’t follow their advice, I installed the full package (300mb) and reinstalled a sofware that runs at StartUp. (SnapzPro).

Everything seems to be working fine so far.
