Lasso ALT selection - Answered

I’m not able to De-select individual, or enclosed polygons when using the Selection Lasso as I used to in 3.5r3 and before. If i try this in z4.r2 i get all the surrounding polys as well.
Enabling Transform>PT Sel. has no effect.
I can however Positively select those polys so it seems to be only a issue with the ALT(red) command.
Is this normal now?
I’m aware I can always select the polys I don’t want as positives and group them but sometimes polygrouping in this manner isn’t the best option.
Below is a pic from 3.5r3 showing the type of polygons i mean.

I’ve just confirmed this. What should happen when Transform>Pt.Select is off is that if your selected area includes an entire polygon then it will only affect polygons that are fully enclosed by the selection. If your selected area does not include an entire polygon it will affect all polygons connected to the selected point(s).

However, in my tests it is behaving as if Pt.Select is turned on at all times.

Please submit a Support ticket for this so that our development team can add it to the tracker for investigation.
