Anyone know what could be causing my extremely large file sizes? A simple head mesh saved as a ZPR takes over 175 MB after Dynamesh was used and 45 MB before. Saved as a ZTL it takes 4.5 MB which may still be too large for such a simple mesh.
The Demo dog, rhino and soldier ZPR files are all under 1 MB and are more complex.
ZPR saves more than just your tools it saves your brushes and pretty much everything on your Zbrush screen. ZTL only saves the tool with its subtools. Unless you really need the other setup stuff I only save as ZTL.
Thanks but you’ll note I said even my ZTL files were several MB larger than the demo ZTLs. Any idea why this could be?
Storing undo history with the model/project will increase the file size.
Yeah… marcus_civis is right. Try to - > Preference -> Undo History and try to OFF “Enable saving” and ON “Skip Loading” ;)
