Moon Terraforming and Crater 01 are totally cool!
Very nice.small_orange_diamond
Very cool. So, what’s the story behind these images of the moon being terraformed?
Impressive work as Always!
“… So, what’s the story behind these images of the moon being terraformed?”
Just so! )
This is really fascinating!
I write for a long time at a science fiction story.
My starting point was the Lunar Transient Phenomena.
Aliens created life on a suitable Planet and place a moon.
This moon is a recording station and at the same a protection against destruction by asteroid.
And the connection to the alien is done by signals, of which we see only the Lunar Transient Phenomena.
And now I see your terraforming! Insanity!
That’s just cool! Thank you for that!
Ciao,

TribunMaximus:
How could form craters on the Moon? Why Earth not protect the Moon? The moon does not rotate around its axis. Consequently it was not always so.
Sorry my little English ))
The crater is not formed, they are a result of impacts.
The moon is an artificial structure, which was wrapped in regolith.
In my story can the moon corrects its trajectory. And he gets it!
Anyway. Its is science fiction!

Inhuman work! You must be obsessed once you start something to put so much detail into it.
Clearly you and H.R. Giger come from the same family, he’s from the ‘bio’ side and you’re from the ‘mechanical’ side.
Jaw-droppingly awesome design and sculpture as always! small_orange_diamond
Your moon needs Gutalin-ships bringing in giant pre-sculpted panels…
Moon Phases
Good night, see you tomorrow
Amazing my friend. What about rendering’s setting , some more infos if possible ?
About the moon , do u have used a spherical texture? I’ve made something similar in the past and i’ve used a texture on a spherical uv layout.

I think we’ve compared Gutalin’s work,to Geiger enough. His work is inspired by the great man, but the brilliant originality of Gutalin’s work must be recognized in it’s own right. This man has enormous talent and originality that should be more directly recognized and appreciated. I just wish he would do an extensive tutorial…in Russian! So I could learn some of his texturing techniques. They are not obvious to me. This kid is good.

Thank you for your messages and considerations on my art. I am deeply grateful to you for your support.
Alex
I missed this thread for a while, and lotsa graphics appeared in between… While you guys guess how exactly Gutalin did his complex works, I will just drink some stacks of cold beer with extreme pleasure, looking at the newer masterpieces.
Lets the Earth magnets the asteroids, to save the moons landscape! Thanx Alex for the space pics links!
Cheerz!
Mort
