This is looking really cool, Sidereus. That’s one of the more credible faces I’ve seen in a while. Really like the shape of that hat too. In fact, her whole outfit is nice, not too fussy, not too punky. Just simple and credible.

I’d say you nailed that then. Is this going to be a scene with lots of characters? Do you plan on polypainting, or will you texture and comp in Max/Maya?

I dont plan to make anybody but her, im thinking about placing her on the platform so shes looking towards and past the camara, as if shes looking down the tunnel to the viewers back, behind her it could be cool to have something nasty emerging from the shadows of the tunnal at the far end of the platform but i havent desided what yet.
I have never really sat down a had a good go at poly painting so i might give it a try, the final scene will all be lowpoly so ill render it in max.
Also, this is the base mesh i created as a guide for the clothing, i havent really worked on the hands yet and when i got to the feet i really didnt fancy spending any time on the toes as you wont see them in the final render.

the girl doesnt look like the sort of person to be carrying aroung a pug dog, since you wanted her to be simple looking. Should she be wearing heels? You should give her sneakers, it would be a more likely choice of clothing to go with the rest of the clothing she has on.

when i was looking for jean ref i kept coming across girls wearing heels with jeans and it it seemed very big cityish but im not sure now, the pics below show the sort of ref i have found.

How did you create your base mesh? Did you create it in Zbrush?
All of those girls from your reference are more or less supermodels, so they are confidant enough to go out of their comfort zone and wear heels. Your girl looks like the kind of pretty faced girl that doesn’t want too much attention. That’s the only reason why i feel like the heels are inappropriate for her style. Shes wearing a hoody and a beanie and most of your shown reference is wearing collars with no beanies. I guess what I’m trying to say is attitude. Does she have the attitude to wear heels? I’d say no, shes a quiet girl, not demanding huge amounts of attention. LOL! I hope I don’t sound like a freak talking about shoes but there you go!!!
heres the kind of shoe I think she would wear. Ignore the textures/labels on the shoe, just look at the form of the shoe.
Great looking model. Now, you should bag that pug!!! By the way, the pugs name should be Mickey! He looks like a Mickey. Great job on the pug. Pug’s are bug eyed, insect dogs!!!
